The WILSON LINES - back in the early '70's, I lived in a Jersey City basement apartment right next to a giant steam boiler. There were 2 other guys that were friends and we managed this 7 story old building in exchange for free rent & utilities while we worked and attended college. I walked all over Jersey City, I especially enjoyed the decaying dock and riverfront area. Of course I made photographs before the area was cleared for urban renewal. Many Cruise Lines had their ports here in the early 20th century. This photo was made on TRI-X with a 35mm Pentax camera with the 50mm kit lens. I wish we could go back in time.
